Boiler Replacement in Wimbledon

In this video, our plumber is onsite in Wimbledon on a full heating installation in Wimbledon, South West London.
On this heating system installation, an old cylinder and tank were removed and the heating system was converted using a Worcester Bosch 25SI Combi Condensing Boiler, from their Greenstar range. This boiler provides instant hot water and central heating.
New pipework was run using 22mm from the gas meter to the boiler, for a brand new gas supply. The Gas Safe plumber also installed a completely new heating system to the property. This included new towel rail, which was fitted nice and high to ensure that the customers’ towels can be hung properly.
Wireless Temperature Control
The plumber also fitted a wireless temperature control stat in the hall for the customer, which is also covered in the extended parts and labour warranty that Aquaheat.org.uk plumbers provide on all Worcester Bosch boiler installations (great value for money!).
New Radiators Fitted
For this heating system conversion, the plumber also fitted new radiators throughout the property. The one in the lounge is a double panelled, double convector radiator – which throws out an awful lot of heat – so great for those cold winters! Thermostatic valves are fitted on all of the radiators installed in this property for temperature control. These have heat settings that range from 1 – 5. It was recommended to the customer to set the radiators between 2 – 3 in the bedrooms. This ensures that the heating system runs more efficient, and they are not burning a lot of gas in the rooms that are left unoccupied, but is still warm at bedtime.
This heating system conversion in Wimbledon was completed within a couple of days.
